Time Tracking and Other Life Updates

The past few months of this pregnancy have been difficult for me.  Mentally, physically and emotionally.  I haven’t been able to work out in the way I’m used to, I’m not eating the things that I know give me the most energy and I’m exhausted all of the time. Was I this way with my first two pregnancies? I don’t remember.  I’m someone who is always doing thirty things at once and not being able to move forward with my goals and the habits that support my identity has been difficult.

Whenever I get into a slump like this, I know I need a reset.  For me, a reset looks like implementing more control and structure into my days and metrics to track where exactly I am struggling.  Therefore, I decided to go back to the structured tracking of my time and habits.  I have a Google Sheet that I use whenever I need a reset.  It helps me to (1) see where my time is going (2) get honest about just how off my habits and nutrition are and (3) ensure my activities are aligned with my personal values and goals.

My plan is to track my time diligently until B3 comes. For my own accountability, I’ll report back on what went well and what didn’t.  Maybe I’ll even make a series about it.

In other news, Sean is back from his golf tournament. Yay! So I feel like I can finally take a breath and tackle some of the household tasks built up over the last few days.
